I Drew a Line

I'll continue this tale of drama,
With no help, from my mamma.
Beginning with how I'm glad of life.
Though once before it was filled with strife.

Yes, you're right, it's true it's good now.
Now, sweat, no longer drips from my brow.
I meet each day with a smile on my face,
Excitement gathering that I can almost taste.

I love how I'm no longer excluded.
My once stress is now diluted.
I'll admit that I still suffer for a few,
But now I'm happy after that line that I drew.

Never again will I sweat and dread,
Tossing and turning within my bed.

Friend Stress

I used to think, my friends were real,
And then my life became surreal.
And through the fog it dawned on me,
That maybe it was all a scheme?

Perhaps all the times I'd laughed and cried,
Inside my friends, something had died.
I was talking to some ghosts,
Who regarded me like a beggar, and them hosts.

But since that day when the tables turned,
No longer was I the one that fought and earned.
Every drop of friendship now,
Was given to me, not clawed for, how?

Now I have a good friendship,
No longer do I cry and drip.
For I can count on my friends to prevail,
On and on, lasting all a gale.

HP Character - Hermione Granger

Hermione Granger is called a know-it-all,

Hermione Granger who never answers the call.

Slytherins call her mudblood, and she’s never provoked.

And Harry Potter quickly joked,

“Wow, the Slytherins are so awesome--”

His voice heavy with sarcasm.

Hermione knows everything,

There is never a scenario where she knows nothing.

She’s tall and proud and her parents are muggles,

So to keep her ego is quite some struggles.

She’s also friends with Ronald Weasley

(Who you may read about in the next sonnet completely.)

Of course, she only became their friends--

When they saved her from a messy end.

HP Character - Harry Potter

Harry Potter with his lightning scar,

Most people think that it’s crazy--bizzare!

But a few chapters within the secret of this book . . .

And you might find people think it’s an interesting look!

Think long sticks, that swish through the air,

Think red and gold sparks, that are naked and bare.

Think a school of magic, a towering castle,

Think a palace built without haste or hassle.

Harry Potter has jet black hair,

That always stays up in the air!

Green eyes, that are bright as jewels,

Like emerald mesmerising pools . . .

Harry Potter, a legend among magic,

Harry Potter, who faced something tragic!

Book Review - Spy School

Spy School is about a mediocre spy,

While the lesson of it is to keep your guard high!

Erica Hale--the queen of doing anything,

While Ben Ripley isn’t much of a martial arts king.

I write this poem about an evil society,

That can cause real bad anxiety.

Traitors and plot holes, loyalties and hooks,

This is one of the very best books!

And don’t take me wrong that I said ‘books,’

‘Cause this book isn’t all about looks!

It’s a series and there’s no doubt about that,

It takes longer to read it than five seconds flat!

I love this series by the author Stuart Gibbs,

It made me laugh till I hurt my ribs!
